The Investment Council under the Governor of the Novosibirsk Oblast has approved a project to construct a high-tech facility for the production of feed for trout, salmon, sturgeon, and other fish species in the "Linyovo" Territory of Advanced Development.

The investor in the project is LLC "SIBBIORESOURCE", which has been producing feed for valuable fish species under the Academfeed trademark for more than 5 years. Production is carried out according to its own original recipes in collaboration with technologists from Southeast Asian and EU countries.

Currently, the company has its own laboratory in the village of Agroles. In 2023, the company produced more than 1,000 tons of feed, and plans to scale up production at a new site and produce up to 20,000 tons of products per year in just 4 years.

As part of the new project, another modern high-tech facility will be launched for the production of feed for trout, salmon, sturgeon, and other fish species.

“This will help supply the domestic market with necessary products at an affordable price and expand export opportunities. Our main buyers today are the Leningrad Oblast, the Republic of Karelia, and Ossetia. We are now entering the Far East region. In addition, contracts have been signed with the Republic of Indonesia. The new site is needed precisely to ensure we have enough capacity to satisfy old and new clients,” — says Elena Leonova, Director of LLC "SIBBIORESOURCE".

In the "Linyovo" TAD, the company was attracted by the convenience of access roads, the proximity of the federal highway, and the availability of human resources. The company is also working closely with the head of Linyovo, Dmitry Grushevoy, and jointly plans to implement social projects—such as building a football field or opening a judo school.

Currently, the facility construction project is in the stage of coordination with a credit institution and government bodies, contracts with major raw material suppliers have been signed, and a team of technologists is ready to work on developing and improving recipes.

According to the project presented at the Investment Council, construction of the facility in the "Linyovo" TAD is scheduled to start as early as November 2024. The plant will begin operations in August 2025. It is planned to create 29 jobs at the enterprise. The investment volume will amount to 194.4 million rubles. The total volume of tax revenues to the regional budget for 2025–2030 should exceed 38 million rubles. The production area will be 4 hectares.

Note: TAD (Territory of Advanced Development) is an economic zone with favorable tax conditions, simplified administrative procedures, and other privileges, created to attract investment, accelerate economic development, and improve the population's life. The village of Linyovo received TAD status on March 16, 2018.
